Reunion Roadmap 11/14/2020 – with Special Guest MelanEE Lisa Davidson

Does God ever give up on anyone? If you ask MelanEE Lisa Davidson, she might shout, “Noooooo! I know that because Papa NEVER gave up on me!”

When you hear MelanEE’s story, you’ll understand why she can be so certain. This is a woman who rejected her Creator as a teenager, and then turned toward a lifestyle of radical lesbianism. Yet, as she explains in this three-part interview, God pursued her relentlessly. Not only did He redeem her, He carried her through years of struggle to overcome all the damage of her rebellious years. This is a story that will challenge you, but will leave you encouraged and in awe of what our blessed Heavenly Father will do to bring His children back.

Check out MelanEE’s memoir, Loved.I.Am! One Woman’s Journey of Shattering Shame Through Experiencing PAPA’S Great Love!, available at Amazon. Also check out her website at www.hisgreatl0ve1.org.

MelanEE’s testimony is a fitting introduction to the subject of our musical selections by Barry Phillips and the Aleph Tav Band, and by Mason Clover. Barry also joins Elder Mark Webb in a discussion about the signs in of the times called, “The Heavens Declare.”

Reunion Roadmap 10/31/2020 – with Special Guest Bryan Barnes

Our Creator is building His Kingdom in more ways than we may realize. Bryan Barnes helps us understand some of those ways in this concluding part of our interview with him. His family’s initiative with Growing in Torah is only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak! Bryan shares with us a bit more about that, and about Messiah West Coast, the youth camp that has been part of their community outreach almost from the beginning. As Bryan explains, their desire is not just to make a difference in their home state of California, but wherever the Lord directs them!

In a very real sense, it is love that has motivated the Barnes family to do what they do. That love starts with our Redeemer, Who first loved us. This is what we hear in this show from the music of Bill Green and Will Spires, and in the midrash from our Elders called, “Love One Another.”

In this show we return to Central California to continue our conversation with Bryan Barnes of Growing in Torah. Having come to understand the value of the Torah to Yeshua’s followers, the Barnes family moved together into keeping Shabbat and the Feasts, but that was only the beginning.  Bryan explains how their joy in keeping the Feasts gave them reason and resources to open their celebrations into what is now an international ministry! How do they do it? By maintaining the joy, and by finding rest in the Creator.

Rest and joy are themes of this show, as we hear in the music of Kelly Ferrari Mills and Jimmie Black, and in the midrash form Barry Phillips and David Jones. In fact, “Rest” is the simple title of their discussion.

Reunion Roadmap 10/17/2020 – with Special Guest Bryan Barnes

Did you ever think of the Bible as an agricultural book? It may seem obvious since all the Biblical writers lived in ancient agrarian societies, but as Bryan Barnes can tell you, it’s one of those obvious truths that we seldom think about. In our advanced technological civilization, we are far removed from the direction connection with nature that defined the lives of our ancestors. Bryan discovered (or rediscovered) this when he and his family returned to farming in their home state of California. To his surprise, he realized that much of the Torah is understandable only in an agricultural context! That’s why the Barnes family launched Growing in Torah, a ministry that brings young people to their farm to teach them how to cultivate the land as our Creator intended, and in the process make a deeper connection with Him and with His living Word. Bryan tells us his story over the next three podcasts – and in the process shares some resources to help people of all ages in their walk with Messiah Yeshua.

Barry Phillips and David Jones return to share their observations on how the people of God should connect with one another. That’s the subject of their midrash, “A Camp of Unity.” Mason Clover and Lenny and Varda round out our show with music to uplift and encourage!

Reunion Roadmap 9/19/2020 – with Special Guest Bryan Sanchez

It may take years for a person to get to the place where they are ready for our Father to reveal something that has been hidden in plain sight. Once they get it, though, there is no stopping them! The excitement at finally understanding leads to vision and motivation to make a difference for others in accordance with the Father’s desires.

That is what happened with Bryan Sanchez when his friend Solomon Lopez helped him understand his identity as part of the commonwealth of Israel. Having already served faithfully with Christians United for Israel (CUFI) to bring the divided halves of God’s covenant people together, Bryan eagerly embraced this new understanding as it helped him answer longstanding question about the relationship of Christians and Jews. How that happened and what he is doing with his new understanding is the subject in this concluding segment of our conversation with him.

In this show we also have the second part of “Salvation and Righteousness,” a conversation between Elders Frank Houtz and Barry Phillips about the meaning of familiar words that we might not really understand. All of this is accompanied by the uplifting musical talents of Eved Adonai and Melody Joy Cloud
