Approaching Israel’s 70th Anniversary

Here’s what’s coming on Hebrew Nation Radio on Monday, January 22:
Did you know that 2018 is the 70th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth as an independent nation? The modern state of Israel was born on May 14, 1948 – or in the Hebrew calendar, Iyyar 5, 5708. This is known as Yom HaAtzma’ut (Independence Day) in Hebrew.
As with all Hebrew dates, Yom HaAtzma’ut falls on a different day each year in the Gregorian calendar. This year it is April 19 – a little over two weeks after Passover. And what happens just before Passover?
That’s the subject of our visit with Ephraim and Rimona Frank, organizers of the Third B’ney Yosef Congress. The Congress takes place March 23-27, 2018, at the Eshel Hashomron Hotel in Ariel, Israel. As with so many things occurring in Israel during this 70th year of independence, this event takes on special significance. What is that significance? That’s what we will discuss with Ephraim and Rimona. In a sense, this is a continuation of our conversation with them from this past November. Join us to find out what’s happened in the last three months, and how you can be a part of these exciting events in the restoration of all Israel!

The Remnant Road, with co-hosts Al McCarn, Mike Clayton, Barry Phillips, and Hanoch Young is the Monday edition of the Hebrew Nation Morning Show.  You can listen live at 11:00–1:00 EST, 8:00-10:00 PST at http://hebrewnationonline.com/, and on podcast at any time.

Prophecy in Motion

Here’s what’s coming on Hebrew Nation Radio on Monday, November 27:
What’s the next step for the Ephraimite Awakening? Come to the Third B’ney Yosef National Congress and find out!

That’s the subject of our visit with Ephraim and Rimona Frank during the second hour of this show. They are already organizing the Third Congress, which will happen at the Eshel Hashomron Hotel in Ariel, Israel, March 23-27, 2018.
What has happened since the Second Congress concluded in October 2016? Quite a bit, as Ephraim and Rimona will explain. Developments both in the Ephraimite Awakening, and in Jewish awareness of it, indicate an acceleration and expansion of the process of Israel’s complete restoration.

Where does this fit in the prophetic timeline? We will certainly talk about that. The Third Congress happens just before Passover, and only three weeks before the 70th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth as a nation. The timing alone is of great prophetic significance – but what exactly does that mean?

Our conversation with Ephraim and Rimona will follow our update from Hanoch, who is in the midst of his latest U.S. tour with his latest presentation, “What Next, Israel?” How does his presentation fit with the anticipation of the Third Congress, and how is it being received? Join us and find out!

Our coverage of recent developments in Israel continues with three special guests joining us from the Land.  Ephraim and Rimona Frank return to the Remnant Road to share their impressions of the recently concluded Second B’ney Yosef National Congress. With them is Akpene Torku, Executive Secretary of B’ney Yosef North America, who is nearing the end of her first visit to Israel.  Akpene also participated in the Congress, as well as the Connect to the Land tour led by Mike Clayton and Hanoch Young.  How does Akpene’s view as a newcomer to Israel compare to Ephraim’s and Rimona’s perspectives as veterans? Listen and find out!

Celebrating Shabbat Texas Style!

The National Shabbat movement arrived in the Lone Star State through a gathering of about 100 people on March 19 at Fischer Park in the city of New Braunfels.  As with National Shabbats in Georgia and South Carolina, some participants traveled many hours to get there, coming from as far away as Sabine Pass on the Louisiana border, Wichita Falls near the Oklahoma border, Arlington in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, and Corpus Christi on the Gulf Coast.  Most of those assembled in New Braunfels came from around Austin (Georgetown, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Kyle) and San Antonio (Boerne, Converse, Poteet, Adkins, Floresville), with a significant number from the Houston area (Katy, Sugarland, Pasadena). Foundations of Ephraimite National Identity

Bney Yosef National Congress BannerThe first day of the Bney Yosef (Sons of Joseph) National Congress has concluded with great promise.  The delegates gathered at Ariel, Israel, among the hills of Samaria, are united in the understanding that the time has come at last for the Lord God to fulfill His promises to restore all of Israel in preparation for Messiah’s coming to establish His throne in Jerusalem.

It was my honor and privilege to present the first address to the Congress.  This presentation on Israelite identity met with a positive reception from the assembly.  I share it here as a glimpse into the matters we are deliberating.

May 26, 2015

By this time I hope that all of us have had our first “moment” here in the Land. You who have enjoyed such an experience know what I mean: it is that instant when you know you are home at last. On Shavuot I had the honor of being present when such a moment came upon one of our brethren at the Kotel (Western Wall) in Jerusalem. Another brother shared his moment at the Har Bracha (Mount Gerizim, the Mount of Blessing; Deuteronomy 11:29, 27:12-13; Joshua 8:33) yesterday. My moment came last week at Caesarea. Allow me to share it with you.
