Publication Update: Just Waiting on Congress – Ten Parts in the King

We’re in that tedious part of the final stages of publication: we’ve done all we can do, and now we’re waiting on other people to do their part. Specifically, we’re waiting on the Library of Congress to issue us a control number. That’s the last thing before Ten Parts in the King goes to the printer. Then we get to work with the printer to make sure the proof is just right, and when we’re all satisfied, the print run begins.

Sounds tedious, doesn’t it? But fear not! Every day gets us one step closer to having this work available to the reading public. In the meantime, we’re gathering our thoughts for follow-on articles on this website. With Ten Parts in the King as the foundation, we hope to present a continuing series of posts to expand on subjects we just didn’t have opportunity to cover adequately in the book.

Thomas Jefferson was instrumental in establishing the Library of Congress as the national library of the United States. Now we’re only waiting on the LOC to record our book before it goes to print!

Keep watching this site! We’ll provide updates as the news comes in. In the meantime, if you’re inclined to help finance the first printing, click on the donate button below. We have had tremendous response in the last two weeks, and are only a few hundred dollars short of the full amount. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get this far!

To donate any amount, please click on the button below: That’s all for now! If you have any questions, please contact us at editor@tenpartsintheking.com. And, help us spread the word!

Publication Update: Manuscript is Complete! – Ten Parts in the King

We took a major step forward this week with Ten Parts in the King. After months of work, with input from some very dedicated, knowledgeable, and helpful readers, the manuscript is complete!

What’s next? Glad you asked!

This week, we are working with Key of David Publishing to take care of those important legal and financial details to prepare the way for sending the manuscript to the printer. We already have an estimate for the initial print run, and we are very encouraged that it’s about $3,000 – about what we expected. Once we have half of that amount in hand, and have the copyright and other details settled, we can send the job off to the printer. After that, it should take about a month before the book is available.

We have had questions about when we’ll be accepting preorders. We expect to do that as soon as the book goes to the printer. If you are receiving our publication updates, you will be among the first to know!

How long before the book goes to the printer? That is a question you can help us answer!

Key of David is a small publishing company, and doesn’t (yet) have the funds on hand to cover even these modest printing costs. Therefore, we are asking for help from our readers in raising the money for the initial printing.

To donate any amount, please click on the button below:

Thanks to generous friends, we already have nearly $1000 in hand. Will you help us go the rest of the way? Join us in this important endeavor by making a donation toward the first printing. Any donations in excess of that amount will be rolled into successive printings. Consider this an investment, not only in Ten Parts in the King, but in the groundbreaking work that is the hallmark of Key of David Publishing!

The last bit of news is that we are thinking about a book launching event or two. We’ll be able to fill in the details of when and where once we have an idea when the book will be published. For now, the thought is to have the book launching either in Columbia, South Carolina or in Charlotte, North Carolina – or maybe an event in each location!  Please let us know your thoughts!

That’s all for now! If you have any questions, please contact us at editor@tenpartsintheking.com. And help us spread the word!

Rehabilitating the Lions

Here’s what is coming up on The Remnant Road on Hebrew Nation Radio for Monday, April 3:

One of those problems with the Kingdom of Heaven is that it is populated entirely by walking wounded and invalids. Everyone has been hurt in some way, and everyone has done their share of inflicting pain on others – often unintentionally. How, then, does YHVH get anything done?

That is a question we will ask Cole Davis. His calling is to address the wounds in YHVH’s people to bring healing and deliverance and help them be everything the Heavenly Father created them to be. Pain, lies, curses, and demonic opposition are among the obstacles every person faces. Until we learn to deal with these, we will remain fractured as individuals, as families, and as the Body of Messiah Yeshua.
But how do we start? That is something Cole will help us discover as we welcome him to The Remnant Road.
You can find out more about Cole Davis at On That Day Ministries. He is also the host of The Lion’s Path, which airs live on Hebrew Nation Radio on Wednesdays at 9 p,m. Pacific.

Power in Intercession

Here’s what is coming up on The Remnant Road on Hebrew Nation Radio for Monday, March 27:

How do we know God is working in the lives of people? By testimonies, of course! That is how the Lord glorifies His Name, and how He moves His people to pray for one another.
Prayer leads to action. Not only that, but intercession with and for others breaks down walls and builds bonds of love. Evangelist Alveda King, Director of Civil Rights for the Unborn at Priests for Life can testify to the truth of this. She joins us to talk about what she sees happening in the Body of Messiah in America today.
We also welcome Dr. Deborah Wiley of Oasis Life Center, and Kisha Gallagher, author of the Grace in Torah blog, and of The Biblical New Moon: A Beginner’s Guide for Celebrating. Dr. Deb and Kisha are co-hosts for Hebrew Nation Radio’s new Wednesday morning show, Renewed, a program focused on the reality of the miracles of God still taking place in the lives of Yeshua’s followers.
Join us for another uplifting and informative segment of this journey on the Remnant Road!

A Voice of Praise from South Africa

Here’s what is coming up on The Remnant Road on Hebrew Nation Radio for Monday, March 13:

Did you ever get lost in worship of our holy, sovereign God? Have you had such an experience lately? If not, why not?
These questions highlight another topic many Hebrew Roots believers are looking into these days. In our quest for better understanding of the Scriptures, many of us seem to have forgotten that sense of awe at the presence of the Almighty, and the way He communed with us as we worshiped Him with reckless abandon.
That is why we are blessed to have Andrew Hodkinson of South Africa as our guest. Andrew’s music has inspired multitudes in many countries, including participants at the Second B’ney Yosef Congress in October 2016, where he led the worship. Listen as we talk with him about the necessity of praising our King and worshiping Him with everything in our being!
To hear some of Andrew’s music, visit this link on YouTube:

Getting to Be a Healthy Family

Here’s what is coming up on The Remnant Road on Hebrew Nation Radio for Monday, March 6:

170306-john-conradDr. John Conrad presented the keynote address at the B’ney Yosef North America Summit in Mesa, Arizona last month. We welcome him to the Remnant Road to share his thoughts with us on the Summit, and on the status of the emerging Ephraimite family in North America.
Few people are as qualified as John to speak to this topic. Having been part of the Hebrew Roots movement for many years, he continues to look eagerly for the promised restoration of all Israel. As an Elder with B’ney Yosef North America, and as leader of the House of Aaron community in Eskdale, Utah, he brings a unique perspective to the question of how the scattered dry bones of Ephraim can become a living, breathing organism of many communities.

From Arizona to Israel

Here’s what is coming up on The Remnant Road on Hebrew Nation Radio for Monday, February 27:

170227-hanoch-young

Hanoch Young joins us from Israel as we continue our reporting on the B’ney Yosef North America Summit which recently concluded in Mesa, Arizona. In his exhortation to the gathering, Hanoch shared insights from his 25 years of involvement with Ephraim’s awakening. We catch him between engagements – Hanoch just returned home to Israel after a long trip in the US, and will soon be leading another Connect to Israel tour to introduce a group of Ephraimites to the Land. We are glad to have him back to share his unique Jewish perspective of the long-awaited restoration of the House of Joseph!

What Happened at the Table

Here’s what is coming up on The Remnant Road on Hebrew Nation Radio for Monday, February 20:

170220-mike-clayton

Did you miss the B’ney Yosef North America Summit? Don’t worry! Mikell Clayton of Joined to HaShem will tell you all about it.

Mike has been a friend of BYNA since its beginning and shared the Master of Ceremonies duties with Ken Rank. The gathering in Mesa, Arizona, resembled a feast at a banquet table (“Mesa” means “table” in Spanish!). This second BYNA Summit featured stirring exhortations by Dr. John Conrad, Dr. Iglahliq Suuqiina, Iris Bouwman, and Hanoch Young. The spiritual intensity at the beginning of this Summit started at the same level of the 2016 Summit, and just went up from there! Listen as Mike tells how that could be, and shares his thoughts on what to expect next!

Seeing Through Israeli Eyes

Here’s what is coming up on The Remnant Road on Hebrew Nation Radio for Monday, February 6:

170206-ari-fuld
Since we talk a lot about Israel on the Remnant Road, it is always good to hear Israeli voices. On this show we get to do that. Our guest is Ari Fuld, a talk show host on Israel News Talk Radio. Ari has a distinctive Israeli perspective, and as a sergeant in the Israeli Defense Force reserves understands the issues impacting Israel’s security. Expect some informed conversation on relevant issues like Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria, Israel’s relations with the United States, the wars raging on the nation’s borders, and more. As assistant director of Standing Together (http://www.stogether.org/), an organization that supports IDF soldiers, Ari can also address the issues affecting soldiers and their families.
After you hear him talk with us, listen to Ari on Israel News Talk Radio at http://israelnewstalkradio.com!

Seeing the Invisible; Hearing the Silent

  • Here’s what is coming up on The Remnant Road on Hebrew Nation Radio for Monday, January 30:
If we look hard enough and listen carefully enough, we will find an uncomfortable truth: suffering is all around us in the very places we do not want it to be.
Finding the suffering and helping to ease it is the calling of Lauralee, a modern-day Samaritan woman. For twenty years she has been a voice crying in the wilderness, telling the truth about those who are suffering the most, and who all too often receive the least notice. They are women and children, widows and orphans, abused and abandoned and sitting quietly, week after week, in churches and synagogues, hiding their pain.
Who are these hurting ones? How do we find them? How do we help them? Is there more to this than simply forgiving and forgetting?
As Lauralee says, “Forgive, yes, but, forget, sorry, I cannot do that. Move on, yes, I am moving on … at His leading … at His direction … at His beckoning.”
This will be a different kind of show. It will not be for the fainthearted, but those who are brave enough to come down this part of the Remnant Road will be much better for the journey.
