Here’s what’s coming on Hebrew Nation Radio on Monday, January 22:
Did you know that 2018 is the 70th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth as an independent nation? The modern state of Israel was born on May 14, 1948 – or in the Hebrew calendar, Iyyar 5, 5708. This is known as Yom HaAtzma’ut (Independence Day) in Hebrew.
As with all Hebrew dates, Yom HaAtzma’ut falls on a different day each year in the Gregorian calendar. This year it is April 19 – a little over two weeks after Passover. And what happens just before Passover?
That’s the subject of our visit with Ephraim and Rimona Frank, organizers of the Third B’ney Yosef Congress. The Congress takes place March 23-27, 2018, at the Eshel Hashomron Hotel in Ariel, Israel. As with so many things occurring in Israel during this 70th year of independence, this event takes on special significance. What is that significance? That’s what we will discuss with Ephraim and Rimona. In a sense, this is a continuation of our conversation with them from this past November. Join us to find out what’s happened in the last three months, and how you can be a part of these exciting events in the restoration of all Israel!
The Remnant Road, with co-hosts Al McCarn, Mike Clayton, Barry Phillips, and Hanoch Young is the Monday edition of the Hebrew Nation Morning Show. You can listen live at 11:00–1:00 EST, 8:00-10:00 PST at http://hebrewnationonline.com/, and on podcast at any time.
